Open or broken worshipper

luke 7:37-38 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind [him] weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw [it], he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
Are you an open or broken worshipper? Now I am sure you are saying and open worshipper. Well that is good but being a broken worshipper is so much better. When you open yourself up to a person you control how much you give and how much you allow them to take. Where a broken worshipper like the woman who anointed Jesus feet comes to him on broken pieces not with a hidden agenda but with a desire to please Him.
She wanted to serve the master while those who invited him to the table never took the time to wash his feet or attend to His needs. When entering worship the best stance to take is one of brokenness not just openness with the limits of control. Worship at his feet and allow him to fill your brokenness with Him wholly.
