Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
Much of our weakness comes from our impatience. We want everything right now and when it doesn't happen it must not be the will of the Lord for our lives! When in fact there is a set season assigned to all of us to go through and to come out of our situations, in the process we need to serve the Lord which also means to wait on Him. If you go to a 5 star restaurant and are seated with your guest and the wait staff comes to your table with an attitude he or she does not greet you politely but rudely ask if they can help you. They are no longer considered to be doing a service to you or your guest.
And so it is with the Lord once you approach your ministry or work in the ministry a chore and not a service you are no longer waiting on the Lord. Re-evaluate your service to the Lord and then re-position yourself as a servant and not one that needs to be served.
Be blessed
