The Exchange

When you received Christ as your Lord and Savior something happened within you that some really can’t describe or explain. An exchange took place the old person you use to know exchanged positions. The old man took a back seat to the new creation in Christ, the old passed away. You had a funeral and buried the old nature in your baptism and raised a new man or woman in Christ.
Not only did you exchange natures you also exchanged blood. The blood of Chris now flows through your veins; you picked up the DNA of your Heavenly Father. What does the DNA of our Father help us to do? It helps us to: Do the will of the Father, Navigate through this journey called life and Accept the call of God on our lives.
When breeders look at animals to decide the best mate for them they trace the bloodline of it’s for fathers to ensure it came from good stock. Well when you trace your roots through the bible you will see the blood that Jesus shed to redeem us back to the father flowing from the beginning all the way to Revelations. Scientist says that when a person receives an organ from a person who has expired it is possible that the person receiving the organ may feel some of the things the person who previously had the organ felt. While I am not sure how true that is in the natural; I see it as being true in the spiritual.
With the blood of Jesus running threw your veins you experience Him on the inside of you in many ways. You are allowed to see things through his eyes and feel the burdens of His heart. These are the types of things that come with the exchange you have made. So today reflect on the DNA of your Father and ask yourself are you using the DNA to help you accomplish the will of the Father?
