This means you!

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
This short verse spoke volumes to me this morning. So go ahead and answer the question how can two walk together except they agree? Your salvation is a partnership you entered into it when you accepted the blood of Jesus as payment for your sin. Do you walk in agreement with Him on a daily basis? When you read the scriptures do you agree with what you read and then walk it out? This blood covenant we have entered into is not to be taken lightly, a great price was paid for your eternal life.
Is it hard for you to believe that you are blessed and favored by the very one who laid down his life? Do you believe that the Father spoke this world into existence and by the same spoken words you can change your situations? Daily you are loaded up with benefits from the Father. Just like the health insurance you pay into each month comes with benefits so does your salvation, this health plans is fail proof and you don't have to be screened before you are excepted His word tells us to come as we are and He will do the rest.
So what are you waiting for this means you; enter into a partnership with the Savior today, see yourself as He sees you through the eyes of the Father.

Open or broken worshipper

luke 7:37-38 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind [him] weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw [it], he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
Are you an open or broken worshipper? Now I am sure you are saying and open worshipper. Well that is good but being a broken worshipper is so much better. When you open yourself up to a person you control how much you give and how much you allow them to take. Where a broken worshipper like the woman who anointed Jesus feet comes to him on broken pieces not with a hidden agenda but with a desire to please Him.
She wanted to serve the master while those who invited him to the table never took the time to wash his feet or attend to His needs. When entering worship the best stance to take is one of brokenness not just openness with the limits of control. Worship at his feet and allow him to fill your brokenness with Him wholly.

Zoe

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
Zoe the Greek word meaning Life. Jesus tells us that he came to give us Life and that more abundantly, have you grabbed a hold to that type of life yet or are you still living life as it comes? To have an abundance of something means it overflows you don't have room enough for it, or you have enough to give away or share with others. Jesus exemplified that type of lifestyle when he walked the earth and when he left he said we would do greater works than he did.
Zoe for me is living everyday as if it was your last one, knowing that tomorrow is not promised to you so do the things that God requires of you today and live with great expectancy of tomorrow, and if tomorrow comes it will only be your today all over again.

Mirror Image

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
How do you see yourself? When you look in the mirror do you see the reflection of the Lord or do you see yourself superficially, with the character defects that we all posses? In times past when I first got saved I had low self esteem, I looked down on the ground when I walked as if I was hoping to find something. Well once I searched the scriptures and found out that I was made in the image of God my outlook changed. I started seeing myself as Christ saw me. Being fearfully and wonderfully made as quoted in Psalms 139:14, being a Victor and not a victim any more. I started seeing the fruit of the spirit develop in my life which reflected the character of God.
Let me encourage you to deafen your ear to the nay Sayers in your life and tune your spiritual ears to hear what the Lord says about you. You are beautiful and a women of worth. Don't believe the lie the enemy will try to sell you search the truth and tell me " what Woman you see in the mirror"

I have come for your words

Hebrews 13:2 Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
The word of God tells us that in times past people have entertained angels unaware. Do you realize that God gave us angels to attend to His word, the words you speak according to the word of God. They are waiting and listening to the words that proceed out of your mouth so that they can fulfill the word on your behalf.
Look at Proverbs 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
God spoke this very world into existence by His words and because we have our Daddy's DNA and are made in His image then we can do the same things that He does. Do you see yourself where you are going before you get there? Do you dream about it and see visions of it? Angels have a purpose they are to worship the Father and also to take care of you, what are you saying that causes your angel to come for your words? Don't allow your angel to stand by idle doing nothing while you miss out on what God has already stored up for you.

Unique people

1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Do you believe in the Son even when you don't see Him shinning? Do you believe in Love even when you don't feel it? We are a chosen generation, God chose us we did not choose Him, even when we were in our mess and not willing to commit to his will at all. Imagine that!!! You and I as messed up as we can be have a loving Father that cares enough about us to call us and choose us from the foundation of the world to be his special people to carry out his will on earth, to co-labor with Jesus in spreading the gospel throughout the world. What an awesome privilege to share with our Lord to witness of His loving kindness and be partners with Him in reaching a lost generation. You and I were once in darkness and we were called out by the Father through His wonderful Son Jesus Christ, to walk in the newness of life and to proclaim his glory.
Today when you are doing your time of reflection remember you are chosen and not forgotten, you are a royal priesthood and a holy nation, wear it well.

Lay it all aside

THEREFORE we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Hbr 12:2
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
In today's society we all carry things with us that we should check at the door, however we really don't. We allow things to weight us down and press us into its mold. I often ask myself why is this? Why allow some one's problems to rub off on you and affect your family and your own issues in life? Could it be that the word tells us to bear one an others burdens? But how do you do that without being oppressed and depressed? Those who carry around the spirit of oppression and depression are pressed down, under the thumb of the enemy and other at some points.
The word tells us that we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witness and we should lay aside every weight and sin which so easily ensures us. We are to run with the endurance of Christ not in our own strength. The Lord encourages us to take his yoke upon us and learn of Him for his yoke is easy and His burdens are light. When we exchange our weights with His weights our burdens become lighter. The Lord reminded me that in His presence is fullness of Joy and the weights of jealousy, hatered, envy, strife, malice, anger, addiction and any other vice that would hinder us from entering the presence of Almighty God.
Drop the weights and enjoy the presence of the Lord.

An Audience of One

Psalm 145:1-2

I WILL extol you, my God, O King; and I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you,
And I will praise your name forever and ever.

Jesus is the lover of our souls and our sole purpose should be to praise him as David said in this scripture. Have you ever been lost in a place of worship where you didn’t care who was watching or what you looked like while you were worshiping the Lord? When you see the Lord lifted up in his temple and the angles of the Lord worshiping him in his holiness, you are drawn to that place of worship. When you get in the place of holiness the weights of the world have to fall off of you, they can’t stay attached to you in the presence of the Lord.
It would make so much sense for us to stay in the presence of God where the weights of have to fall off.
Open your mouth and extol the Lord God your king, bless him and watch him move on your behalf. In the place of hard times when you seem to be hard pressed on every side praise His name forever more.

Did you pass the test?

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Have you ever studied for a test and put your all into it and then failed the test? Or perhaps you have studied for a test and passed it with flying colors and at the end of the test you were proud of yourself and the hard work and efforts you put into it. Look at Moses he had a test to pass within himself and for the people he was leading. The Lord told him to speak to his people and tell them that they would see the salvation of the Lord if they would stand still.
Isn't it amazing how the Lord makes your enemies your footstool, did you know that he promised you that, he also said he would prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. The things and issues you have been fighting will no longer fight you but you shall stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
In the toughest times remember that the battle is not yours and the God you serve loves you enough to take care of you and every situation that comes your way.
Pass the Test

The Exchange

When you received Christ as your Lord and Savior something happened within you that some really can’t describe or explain. An exchange took place the old person you use to know exchanged positions. The old man took a back seat to the new creation in Christ, the old passed away. You had a funeral and buried the old nature in your baptism and raised a new man or woman in Christ.
Not only did you exchange natures you also exchanged blood. The blood of Chris now flows through your veins; you picked up the DNA of your Heavenly Father. What does the DNA of our Father help us to do? It helps us to: Do the will of the Father, Navigate through this journey called life and Accept the call of God on our lives.
When breeders look at animals to decide the best mate for them they trace the bloodline of it’s for fathers to ensure it came from good stock. Well when you trace your roots through the bible you will see the blood that Jesus shed to redeem us back to the father flowing from the beginning all the way to Revelations. Scientist says that when a person receives an organ from a person who has expired it is possible that the person receiving the organ may feel some of the things the person who previously had the organ felt. While I am not sure how true that is in the natural; I see it as being true in the spiritual.
With the blood of Jesus running threw your veins you experience Him on the inside of you in many ways. You are allowed to see things through his eyes and feel the burdens of His heart. These are the types of things that come with the exchange you have made. So today reflect on the DNA of your Father and ask yourself are you using the DNA to help you accomplish the will of the Father?

Rights restored

Leviticus 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

Have you ever had your rights violated and needed them restored? The children of Israel went from bondage to freedom but their property and goods were still being held up. Has that happened to you? It has happened to me several times, you work so hard to gain things in your life, things that you hold dear to your heart, then one day to have them stolen away right from under you.
This did not come as a surprise to the Lord although it may have caught the children of Israel as well as you and I off guard. God always has a ram in the bush as he did for Abraham. This year could very well be your year of jubilee, the year of restoration of your family, business, finances, relationships etc. Just recently
the President signed a bill to pass the "second chance act "law which allows ex-offender the opportunity to have their rights restored and start over fresh. For years it has been way too hard for an ex-offender to start over after being incarcerated, once you have paid the penalty of incarceration the slat should be wiped clean given you the same opportunity as any other citizen of the united Sates. God gave us a solution for this problem in Leviticus, he gave us a reprieve to have our rights restored, extending to us the Grace to start over.
As you reflect on what has been stolen from you or held up remember the word tells us that once we catch the thief he has to pay back seven times what he stole. Its time for him to pay up, your jubilee is going to be filled with seven times more love, joy, peace and prosperity.
Be encouraged.

Living water

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Water provides life to people and things it touches. This scripture tells us that if we believe on Jesus that out of our belly rivers of living water will flow. The Word is our living waters that supply nourishment to our souls to enable us to make the journey of life. Wells are dug to supply water, a well of worship needs to be dug in our lives that will allow the water to flow through us in our time of worship. Wow this just hit me our bodies are made up of 70% water this water filters through our bodies and assists in sustains our lives. The word of God does the same thing but on a higher level. It flushes out the carnality of our minds and purifies our heart, it washes our hands that we lift up before the Lord as a sacrifice. In essence when we worship the Lord and we give Him is word back we allow the rivers of water to flow from our bellies.
So continue to allow the water of the word to wash you and make you clean.
Be encourages you are not alone.

The issue is strength

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Much of our weakness comes from our impatience. We want everything right now and when it doesn't happen it must not be the will of the Lord for our lives! When in fact there is a set season assigned to all of us to go through and to come out of our situations, in the process we need to serve the Lord which also means to wait on Him. If you go to a 5 star restaurant and are seated with your guest and the wait staff comes to your table with an attitude he or she does not greet you politely but rudely ask if they can help you. They are no longer considered to be doing a service to you or your guest.
And so it is with the Lord once you approach your ministry or work in the ministry a chore and not a service you are no longer waiting on the Lord. Re-evaluate your service to the Lord and then re-position yourself as a servant and not one that needs to be served.

Be blessed

Your praise will confuse the enemy

Praise: the act of expressing approval or admiration; commendation; laudation.the offering of grateful homage in words or song, as an act of worship: a hymn of praise to God. the state of being approved or admired: The king lived in praise for many years.

Confuse: to perplex or bewilder:to make unclear or indistinct, to fail to distinguish between; associate by mistake; confound.

Three army's came against Jehoshaphat to do battle to overtake the kingdom when Jehoshaphat got word of this he became fearful called for a fast and turned to God for help (he sought the Lord's face on the matter). Judah (the praisers) gathered themselves together and cried out to God for help. Judah was always sent up before battle to proclaim the goodness of the Lord and to sing praises to HIM.
The king reminded the Lord of his promise He had made to them, promises he made concerning the house of the God. The Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he prophesied to the people encouraging them not to be afraid because the battle was not theirs but the Lord's. When Judah obey the voice of the Lord and went up before the battle praising God and declaring His mercy endureth forever, the Lord sent ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir and they turned against themselves and destroyed one another.

This is the type of God we serve He will show Himself strong in our battles when we lift him up. He said if I be lifted up I will draw you unto myself. So lift the banner of worship in every situation you have and watch the Lord slay your enemies in every circumstance. It is always good to praise God in advance for the victories you will win don't wait until its upon you to glorify his name.
Be blessed

Bread of Life

I hope you receive this word today it spoke to me in many ways. It is lengthy reading but it will bless you. Ephesians 6:10-17

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

OK are you ready for this one I hope you are sitting down this will challenge you like it did me. This scripture tells you to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. It instructs you to put on some clothes to help you get through this battle that will come upon you. Don't fool yourself the attack is going to come. Isaiah 54:17 warns us of this: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD. Did you catch that in the scripture this is an heritage since you are a servant of the Lord you get the benefits of the weapon being formed against you but the privilege of it not prospering against you and this is the kicker it is of the Lord did you see that one at the end. So think it not strange when it come praise your way through it.
OK this next verse will blow your mind like it did mine, once you get dressed you are to STAND not FIGHT imagine that your are dressed for a battle that you will not fight but stand against. Now this is how your are going to stand. You know that friend that you have that is not saved and she is doing something that is against the will of God and she comes to you with the issue how do you advise her? Do you say its OK God knows your heart or do you say to her in your Stand that I love you but I can't agree or support what you are doing? Because you know what you are not Standing against you are Standing for. WOW I hope you got that like I did.

Do you notice how many times the word says stand against it not fight it just Stand against it. I encourage you to review this scripture and start Standing against the wiles of the enemy and the Lord will raise up a STANDARD for you.

Be blessed

Issues

Matthew 9:20
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind [him], and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Hello everyone, have you ever known someone who has issues? Perhaps you and I have issues that need to be dealt with. The woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment has an issue of blood, this was a bad thing for her because it cut her off from her family and friends she could not function in her wifely duties or be a mother that was affectionate, cut off from life as she knew it.

We have issues in our lives that keep us from being able to hug our sons and daughters or love our husbands properly. I challenge you today as you reflect on passion week and the price that Jesus paid so that you and I could be issue free, that you deal with the issues in your life. What are you hemorrhaging from? What are you allowing to spill over into your friendships and marriage, work , life and your personal relationship with the Lord? Life is not easy its just life but you must live your life without the issues that will separate you from the one who paid it all Jesus Christ the Anointed One..

No Weapon

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

Look at this scripture, God tells us that things are going to happen in our lives and when they come they were not meant to take us out; but to bring us through and to draw us closer to the Father. Take courage in this scripture the weapon will form but it will not prosper advance or overtake you in any way. You are built to last and to withstand the test you are wired for success and the plan of God is to push you to the desired end He has for you. So in your going through know you are not alone and this too shall pass as all the other trials do.

Be encouraged.

Back to the drawing board

Habakkuk 2:1-3
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

As I ride around the campus of Chapel Hill I notice the buildings of brick an mortar, these beautiful building were in the mind of some great man or woman who took the time to write their vision and make it plain. They set the vision before people to see, that they may run with it. Much like Habakkuk 2 tells us to do. God births things in our spirit man and then gives us charge over those dreams and visions so that we can see them to fruition. Just as the buildings go up on the campus of UNC they have to be inspected and meet codes in order to be occupied.
Our visions and dreams go through the same inspections just by God; first he tests it and puts it through the refiner’s fire (see Malachi 3) to refine the vision and the visionary. Line upon Line and precept upon precept no success is over night. Be encouraged

Broken promises

Have you ever has someone tell you they were going to do something and then they didn't do it? How did it make you feel? Lets look at a broken promise from the word of God and how those involved responded.

Gen 29:1
SO Jacob went on his journey and came to the land of the people of the East.
Gen 29:2
And he looked, and saw a well in the field; and behold, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks. A large stone was on the well's mouth.
Gen 29:3
Now all the flocks would be gathered there; and they would roll the stone from the well's mouth, water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place on the well's mouth.
Gen 29:4
And Jacob said to them, "My brethren, where are you from?" And they said, "We are from Haran."
Gen 29:5
Then he said to them, "Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?" And they said, "We know him."
Gen 29:6
So he said to them, "Is he well?" And they said, "He is well. And look, his daughter Rachel is coming with the sheep."
Gen 29:7
Then he said, "Look, it is still high day; it is not time for the cattle to be gathered together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them."
Gen 29:8
But they said, "We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together, and they have rolled the stone from the well's mouth; then we water the sheep."
Gen 29:9
Now while he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep, for she was a shepherdess.
Gen 29:10
And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.
Gen 29:11
Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice and wept.
Gen 29:12
And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father's relative and that he was Rebekah's son. So she ran and told her father.
Gen 29:13
Then it came to pass, when Laban heard the report about Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him and kissed him, and brought him to his house. So he told Laban all these things.
Gen 29:14
And Laban said to him, "Surely you are my bone and my flesh." And he stayed with him for a month.
Gen 29:15
Then Laban said to Jacob, "Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what should your wages be?"
Gen 29:16
Now Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.
Gen 29:17
Leah's eyes were delicate, but Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.
Gen 29:18
Now Jacob loved Rachel; so he said, "I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter."
Gen 29:19
And Laban said, "It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me."
Gen 29:20
So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her.
Gen 29:21
Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her."
Gen 29:22
And Laban gathered together all the men of the place and made a feast.
Gen 29:23
Now it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter and brought her to Jacob; and he went in to her.
Gen 29:24
And Laban gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid.
Gen 29:25
So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, "What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?"
Gen 29:26
And Laban said, "It must not be done so in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.
Gen 29:27
"Fulfill her week, and we will give you this one also for the service which you will serve with me still another seven years."
Gen 29:28
Then Jacob did so and fulfilled her week. So he gave him his daughter Rachel as wife also.
Gen 29:29
And Laban gave his maid Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as a maid.
Gen 29:30
Then Jacob also went in to Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.
Gen 29:31
When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren.
Gen 29:32
So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben;[fn1] for she said, "The LORD has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me."
Gen 29:33
Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, "Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also." And she called his name Simeon.[fn2]
Gen 29:34
She conceived again and bore a son, and said, "Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons." Therefore his name was called Levi.[fn3]
Gen 29:35
And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, "Now I will praise the LORD." Therefore she called his name Judah.[fn4] Then she stopped bearing.

Jacob was following his father's command by going to the east and seeking out his uncle Laban. Before he found him he found the love of his life Rachel. Once he realized this was his uncles daughter he knew this would be his wife and he would receive favor from the Lord for honoring his earthly fathers command and for the word sake" he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. So Jacob asked his uncle for his daughters hand in marriage, Laban responded by saying let us enter into a covenant with one another work for me 7 years and I will give you Rachel as your wife. Jacob was delighted and worked the 7 years to obtain his "good thang" Rachel. After the 7 years and the time of service was over Jacob requested his due share which was his "good thang". Laban broke his promise to Jacob and used religion to excuse it. In doing this he caused his two daughters to be at odds with one another for years.

One could bare children the one who was not lovely and the lovely one could not bear children at all her womb was shut up. This brought strife into Jacob's home. He had no desire for Leah but Rachel he loved, and where Leah could not get his affection she could give him children. She used this as a weapon against her sister to taunt her and lord over her. Due to Rachel's disappointment of not being able to bear children she offered up her maidservant to bear children for her, opening yet another door and causing more pain. Jacob endured a lot to get his "good thang" he suffered a broken heart and lived with broken promises from his own family.

So when you are dealing with the broken promises in your life hang on to the many promises the Lord has give you. He promised to make you the head and not the tail, to bless you and not curse you, to give you hope and a future.

Total Restoration

Good morning all, today we want to look at total restoration. At some point in our lives we have all lost something or been separated from something that we wanted to get back well lets look at a man who did just that . Job 1:1-2 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. Job lived in a land called UZ which was east and southeast of Palestine somewhere in the Arabian desert. His name means "he that weeps or cries". Which he lived up to. As I was studying this it occurred to me that Job had 7 sons which is the number of perfection/completion, he also had three daughters which is the number of man, hence Job was a perfect man upright in the sight of God.
Now since Satan still had access to the throne room of God he thought that on this day he would go and ask God to allow him to test Job (since he was a man of perfection and completion) and we all know that our enemy does not like it when we are showed favor by our Daddy. Side bar we took something from the enemy that he wants back PRAISE. Job praised God in all situations and because of that he received total restoration. I encourage you to Praise God in your good and bad and watch Him totally restore your life in every area. Now do your own study of Job and see what God reveals to you.
All hope is not lost and you can get back your Joy, Peace, children, husband, wife and anything that has been lost can be restored.

Lights Out

Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The 5 foolish virgins did not store up the oil needed to endure the coming of the bridegroom. Which of these do you liken yourself too? This wedding processional was done at night which is why the virgins needed the lamps and oil to wait on the bridegroom this was a Jewish custom. The word of God is a light unto our feet and a lamp unto our path. Oil in the scripture refers to being prepared for Christ return and the lack of oil shows how we are not prepared hence the 5 foolish virgins. Throughout your journey stay Kingdom minded and look for the King in every situation. Every Kingdom has a King and ours is Christ Jesus the Anointed One.

creative witness

Good morning All, I trust that you are faring well in your spirits and your pocket books. This morning I want to talk about your witness lets look at what Paul said in 1 Corn 9:19-25
For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law,[fn3] that I might win those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God,[fn4] but under law toward Christ[fn5]), that I might win those who are without law;to the weak I became as[fn6] weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Paul is a complex man who could flow with the best and worst of them much like you and I. We are compartmental people who know how to shut down when it suites us and how to open up when it is needed. Paul understood that he only answered to God not man and the opinions of men were just that opinions we all have them. Paul relied on the truth not just the facts of his past deeds. Because he came from good stock and went to the right school and studied the right books he could relate to the high minded but since he also was a murderer and a slander of the Lord Jesus Christ he could also relate to the death row inmate.
So now here is where I challenge you to get out of the box and become creative with your witness not just on your job but in the store beauty shop and malls. We are saved to be a witness, someone is going through what you just came out of or what your currently are going through so be an effective witness and share how the Lord brought you out of your circumstance and has now set your feet upon the solid rock called Jesus Christ.

Direction to tribulation

Good morning all this one is on point for me it really spoke to me and I hope it does the same for you.

Luke 4:1-4 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

A few points I want to bring out about this wonderful example we have of Jesus, first of all He was driven into the wilderness to be tempted the devil but tested of His Father, first direction most of our tribulation comes from above not from beneath. Our heavenly Father puts us through test not because He doesn't know what is in us but because he does know and we Need to find out what we are capable of. Direction two Jesus went into the wilderness full of the Holy Ghost empowered strengthened and ready for the test. Before He went into the wilderness he had been spending alone time with the Father to know His voice and direction without a doubt. Direction three Jesus had the word hidden in his heart before the test so the Holy Ghost could bring it back to his remembrance. Take note he did not wait until the test came to study he did his studying prior to the test and was well prepared for it. Direction four, Jesus never responded in his own words he always said it is written he stood on the word that was Him and it never failed.

Jesus knew who he was and he knew his purpose, if you know your purpose don't forget it, if you are still trying to find out what your purpose is let me encourage you that it is to please the Father first and to be in fellowship with Him through his Son Jesus Christ, everything beyond that is extra.

Don't let yoru baby die

Hello all, we all at some time or another have had a Dream that we nursed and for some reason we have dropped it. OK come now is it just me? Most of you know about the vision I have, the Visionary House which supports female ex-offenders. I have been struggling with getting housing so it was put on hold, but of course the Lord will not let it die and neither will I. So I felt the need to encourage you not to let your baby die.

The Lord put something in each of you to assist in building His kingdom, write your vision down, pray about the vision, make a plan of action, then do it. Don't wast time execute your plan. Tell one person about the plan that is positive and encouraging, hold weekly meetings about your plan, do something everyday concerning your vision and watch it unfold for you.

Whine or Wine

Are you in the Press?? I know I am but just hold on the change is coming. I have learned that God is not going to kill your old nature but He will make him submit to the new man and bring him under subjection.

When grapes are turned into wine they are stomped on and crushed, when olive oil is made it is crushed and squeezed until the very essence of the oil gives off an aroma that is pleasing to the vine dresser. God is the vine dresser of your life and the pressing and squeezing and crushing will happen only so that you will give off the aroma that is pleasing to God so in the pressing don't break give off the aroma of Praise and allow the sweet smell to travel up to the HOLY of HOLY's and make your Daddy proud.

Don't complain when you gain assess to the presence of God worship him and and turn your Whine into Wine.
